Ruth Kellick-Grubbs Ms. Kellick-Grubbs is a management consultant and business advisor to the LBM industry. She assists companies with strategic growth, profitability, performance and process improvement, succession planning and mergers & acquisitions. A recognized LBM industry expert, she is a popular industry event speaker and writes for several industry publications. She also serves on several Advisory Boards and Boards of Directors. Prior to entering the LBM industry she worked for the Japanese Government and US multi-national corporations assisting them with international business development. Mr. Grubbs has spent the last 30 years in Transportation, Logistics and Warehousing; holding various positions including VP Finance, VP of Operations, Senior VP of Maintenance, Safety and Human Resources, Executive VP and President. His expertise is in profit improvement by implementing operational efficiencies and developing short and long term strategies for stakeholders. He has completed numerous acquisitions and mergers on both the sale and buy sides. Mr. Grubbs assists our clients with business transitions, profitability and corporate structure. Dave Gonze
Mr. Gonze has spent his entire career in the construction supply industry working for independent lumber dealers. For 38 years he held management positions in Purchasing, Corporate Planning, Technology and Finance for Lumbermens Merchandising Corporation (LMC). As Senior Vice President he has extensive experience in working with dealers' financial statements and developing corporate strategies. His extensive LBM industry knowledge and experience with the supply chain enables him to offer deep insights and excellent guidance. Douglas A. McCarthy
Mr. McCarthy provides estate planning and generational business succession advisory services to privately held companies. Mr. McCarthy has successfully advised and implemented intergenerational business succession plans in the building supply industry. He has twenty years experience in assisting owners of private companies prepare estate plans that maximize assets transferred to the next generation while minimizing income tax, capital gains tax and estate tax. Charles (Chuck) A. Parke Mr. Parke has a strong background in operations and is a recognized national leader in LEAN. He majored in Industrial Engineering and earned his MBA from the University of Tennessee. He worked initially in the automotive industry for TRW. He moved on to become Plant Manager for Snapper Power Equipment and two years later became Vice President of Operations. He was hired by Lifestyle Furnishings in 1998 as Vice President of Manufacturing for their Lexington Home Brands Division. In 2001, he joined Maytag as the Vice President of Operations for the Laundry Division in Herrin, IL. Under Mr. Parke's leadership, his plant was named "One of the Top 25 Manufacturing Plants" by Industry Week. Chuck is currently a faculty member at the University of Tennessee's Graduate School of Business and associate of Kellick & Associates.
